Queer/Trans friendly sublet available in West Philadelphia! July only, $376 + utilities (if it’s an obstacle talk to me and we can compromise something)
I’ve lived here for months (I’m queer and trans) and have had absolutely no problems with the present (cis, straight) roommates. They’re wonderful people and they have a super cute dog. The boy roomie smokes cigarettes (outside only) and drinks lightly. The girl roomie is straight edge. They’re vegetarians. Neither of them are likely to talk politics but are very open minded and polite— they’re rarely around because they work a lot and spend most of their time at home writing and drawing.
The house is 2 stories with a basement (has a washer) so it’s not accessible, unfortunately. It’s cute, has wood floors and a garden and gets good light. The neighborhood is pretty mellow and I’ve never felt unsafe on my block.
The room for rent is BIG, like at least 15x15 but it’s hard to measure. It’s also lavender with white trim and a teal door, so that’s pretty cool. Room could include a mattress and dresser if you need them; there’s a big closet with storage space up top too.
