I live in a housing co-op in downtown Madison and know firsthand how terrible it is to sleep on the streets, so I will sponsor folks who need a place to crash for up to two weeks. You’d need to come to a house meeting so people can meet and get to know you, and any one person in the house can object to you being here, but as long as you aren’t terribly shady, that oughtn’t be a problem. We are a few blocks from State Street. If you are accepted as a crasher, you’ll have free (mostly vegan) food and access to showers.
