NEED COUCH - BISMARCK/SPOKANE/HUMBOLDT
I’m moving back to California for grad school and need help finding places to stay along the way> I’ve covered a number of locations but am still looking for one night stays in the following 6 cities:
Cleveland, OH
Chicago, IL (trying to stay 2 nights here, for adventuring purposes)
Bismarck, ND
Billings, MT
Spokane, WA
Humboldt, CA
Bonus points for queer/trans couches! But allies are great too.
I’m a friendly gay/trans vegetarian with good manners, good sense, and a healthy taste for adventure. I don’t smoke cigarettes, I drink lightly on occasion, and I have no pet allergies (although if you have snakes crawling loose in your apartment we might not be a good couchsurfing match.) I need a couch, bed, or floor space (I have an air mattress), a shower/bathroom/private place to change, and maybe a little fridge space for the night, if you don’t mind.
I can offer you a home-cooked (well, your home) meal, the standard zine/patch combo, and lots of undying gratitude for your hospitality. If you feel up to showing me around, I’d love to meet your pals and see your city. In terms of tourism, I appreciate art, good food and cold beer, kitschy tourist traps, malls, driving tours, gay bars and drag shows, museums (historical and artsy), and whatever else is unique to your city.
