HAVE COUCH - LINCOLN, NEBRASKA
I am a trans guy, and I have a large upstairs apartment (3 rooms, 1 bathroom) near downtown Lincoln, that is available for people who need a place to stay either short or long term. The place is near bus stops, has access to on street parking, and there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. I have a car, and am willing to lend it to you, as needed, just so long as I get to campus when I need to. If it’s an emergency and you have nowhere to stay, I am willing to pick you up somewhere, as long as its within about an hour of Lincoln. I keep kosher, but wouldn’t ask it of a visitor — there’s just excessive matzoh in the pantry. The apartment is not accessible — you need to walk up a flight of 18 stairs to get there. I do have lots of animals — one cat, one dog, and ten snakes, so if you have allergies and/or snake phobia, I may not be a good host. I am also allergic to pot, so if you use it, we’d need to find a place for you to do so outside of the house. I am a graduate student, which means that I’m usually boring, quiet, and at my computer and/or in the lab, but I’m happy to help out any other trans folks in need.
